“That was the best training I ever had.”
Aleksandra, Team leader PANSA
(Hamburg, 2024)
“This master class has significantly improved my skills and attitudes in the area of organisational safety. Contrary to my initial concerns, the hybrid format was not an issue.”
Airline pilot / aviation psychologist
(Hamburg, 2024)
“This master class stimulates me a lot to approach safety differently.”
Antonio
(Venice, 2024)
“It’s been a really interesting master class with a lot of new insights, discussions, laughs and I’ve been challenged.”
Jessica
(Venice, 2024)
“I found the course very interesting and useful to my future work. Great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with other participants.”
(Venice, 2024)
“Robert and Sidney are a perfect match. I appreciate Robert’s practical approach and Sidney’s discussions. This master class helps me improve my work.”
Renate, trainer
(Hamburg, 2024)
“Training consists of very good interaction and the trainers were able to bring the group together.”
Rene, maintenance manager Lufthansa Technik
(Hamburg, 2024)
“Very well organised, maybe one more day would be better to optimise the learning, ‘cause it’s very compressed. Topics discussed are not “easy” to be understood, so the suggestion is to show the contents to “structured” managers.”
(Venice, 2024)
“An excellent training, recommended for anyone that is looking for real and practical safety and trust in their organisation. Trainer was able to give clear answers and examples to any questions. Sidney, even online, had a great connection with the group.”
Wout, team leader and trainer, ground services
(Hamburg, 2024)
“I found the variety of the group very valuable, different professions and businesses, making the discussion very interesting.”
Marcin
(Venice, 2024)
“Even if the master class is really focused on safety aspects of an organisation, I appreciate the fact that the same approach to safety differently can be applied to other departments (e.g. production and q.c., that is really my job).”
Filippo
(Venice, 2024)
“Greatly compressed and highly relevant menu of safety management tools.”
Bernard
(Venice, 2024)
“I picked up some interesting new leads, that I can expand on and experiment within my organisation.”
(Venice, 2024)
“Very helpful. Being challenged in my thinking by an expert helped me a lot to recalibrate my approach to safety.”
(Hamburg, 2024)
Incident Investigation
In co-operation with the Dutch Airline Pilots Association (VNV) and KLM Cityhopper, Blue Wave has developed a masterclass in incident investigation, specifically aimed at conducting an incident investigation according to the Safety Differently paradigm. Participants are also trained in predictive and proactive safety investigation. The masterclass is based on a real incident that has occurred and is relived through role-playing. Progress in the case is alternated with theory, so that a very rich learning experience is achieved.
On request, this programme can also be offered in other sectors or in English.
Restoring trust after incidents (Restorative Practice)
Together with Maruda, Blue Wave is developing a four-day programme for the healthcare sector on restoring trust after incidents, with both theory and a lot of practical exercises. During the workshop, much time is spent on exercises to master the conversation techniques for the successful application of Restorative Practice. The training is specially designed for the Dutch target group with mostly Dutch language material.
Upon request, this programme can also be offered in other sectors or in-company.
